This year, Berkeley Bowl will be continuing its tradition of cooking up Thanksgiving dinner for take-out. Complete meals feed six diners and include a turkey, rolls, several vegetable sides, mashed potatoes and dessert. Reserve meals up to two weeks in advance. Also available are a smoked ham entrée and many a la carte items. In addition, Berkeley Bowl has a similar dinner package for the Christmas holiday.

Every year, Diablo Foods sells Thanksgiving dinner takeout with all the trimmings. In addition to the standard turkey, Diablo Foods offers a massive number of to-go items that can be added to holiday orders. Customers may choose anything from traditional favorites like mashed potatoes and cornbread to more elaborate items like mushroom risotto or lasagna. Menus can be customized to accommodate vegetarian or gluten-free diets.

The Mill Valley Market offers some of the most flexible Thanksgiving takeout options in the Bay Area. Diners can choose from complete turkey or ham dinner packages in two different sizes serving either four to six people or eight to ten. There is also a complete rustic vegetarian dinner option priced per person. Complete dinners include a meat entrée with all the trimmings, cranberry sauce, vegetable and potato sides and pumpkin pie. All menu items can be ordered a la carte to accommodate any size celebration.

Two of the Prolific Oven’s four Bay Area locations have instituted a tradition of providing Thanksgiving dinners for take-out. From either the Santa Clara or Fremont sites, hungry holiday-goers can order a meal to feed a crowd. Each dinner feeds 15 to 18 people and includes a 16-pound turkey, cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy and dinner rolls. The Oven also offers a variety of add-on items such as pie, cheesecake and vegetable sides. Turkey can be pre-carved upon request for a small additional charge. The last day to reserve dinner is one week before Thanksgiving.

The Fairmont San Jose annually offers a complete-with-all-the-trimmings Thanksgiving meal to go. For those Turkey Day hosts for whom only the best will do, reserve the Fairmont’s dinner package up to November 25. For a cool $185 plus tax, diners can cart home a delicious meal of turkey with dressing, mashed potatoes with gravy, a mixed salad with vinaigrette, candied yams, cranberry relish, a vegetable medley and dinner rolls with butter, all topped off with a choice of apple, pecan or pumpkin pie. Dinner packages will feed six to eight people, and meals may be picked up Thanksgiving day or eve.
