It’s time for actor Tom Hardy to “ink-up” and make good on a bet he had with The Revenant co-star Leonardo DiCaprio.
In an interview with Esquire UK, Hardy tells the magazine how DiCaprio wagered that 39-year-old British actor would be nominated for an Oscar for his role as John Fitzgerald in The Revenant. When the “Mad Max” star’s name popped up for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role, DiCaprio penned his design on a Post-It note that read “Leo Knows Everything.” Hardy agreed to get the tattoo on the condition that DiCaprio would clean it up.

Despite having several tattoos already, Hardy is not looking forward to getting DiCaprio’s ink. “I haven’t got it yet,” Hardy says begrudgingly. “because it sucks.”
The Revenant marks their second film together. In 2010, the duo starred in Christopher Nolan’s “Inception.” Hardy will return in “Mad Max: The Wasteland” and is currently filming the television series “Taboo.”
