SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – Emilia Clarke can now call the Star Wars galaxy her new home as San Francisco-based Lucasfilm welcomes her to co-star in the upcoming Han Solo stand-alone film starring Alden Ehrenreich and Donald Glover.

Best known as Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones, Clarke is said to round out the dynamic cast of characters, according to StarWars.com.

Recently, Glover’s name was confirmed to play a young Lando Calrissian, made popular by Billy Dee Williams in ‘The Empire Strikes Back’ and ‘Return of The Jedi.’ Ehrenreich respectively will take on the reigns of Harrison Ford’s iconic role, Han Solo.

The Han Solo anthology movie is scheduled to release in 2018.
