(RADIO.COM) – Katy Perry’s cosmetic line on CoverGirl is apparently being accused of trademark infringement.

The makeup company Hard Candy is allegedly suing Procter & Gamble over CoverGirl’s Katy Kat line of lipsticks, mascaras and other face paints, reported TMZ. Hard Candy claims Perry’s line is infringing on trademarks that they have had for over 10 years.

At issue seems to be the heart logo in the middle of Perry’s Katy Kat design, which is apparently similar to that of Hard Candy.

The cosmetic line has asked for Perry’s line to be taken off the shelves and wants a portion of the profits Katy Kat has earned since launching last spring.
