(CBS SF) – It seems as though director Garry Marshall and actress Anna Hathaway is interesting in making another “Princess Diaries” movie. It’s been 15 years since the first film, set in San Francisco, released in theaters. The second film “The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement” came out in 2004 which featured Chris Pine as Mia’s love interest.

Marshall revealed to People Magazine that the third movie is being planned and Hathaway was indeed on board. “I was with Anne Hathaway a couple weeks ago, it looks like we want to do ‘Princess Diaries 3’ in Manhattan,” Marshall told People Magazine. “Anne Hathaway is very pregnant, so we have to wait until she has the baby and then I think we’re going to do it.”
