SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – Just in time for the holidays, the San Francisco Giants are auctioning off treasures from their third World Series championship in five years, but they aren’t cheap.
You want the jersey Joaquin Arias wore to not play in Game 1? The opening bid is $750.
The batting practice third base bag from before game 5? You’ve got to spend at least $350.
A banner that was once strapped to a vehicle in the parade down market street? $250 and up.
But perhaps the saddest momentos are the four empty champagne bottles that can be all yours. Starting bid is $100.
As of Friday afternoon, one person had bid the minimum to take home a bottle. The hottest item, understandably, was a game-used Madison Bumgarner jersey that was already nearing $3,000 after 15 bids.
There are only 10 days left to bid. Check out the full list here.
