Although there’s another film on the way from the Harry Potter universe, a group of Manchester, UK students have decided they just can’t wait any longer.

By December 1, the Potterheads hope to raise $63,000 to create their own fan film, called Mudblood and the Book of Spells, which they hope to begin filming in 2015 and premiere by the end of the year.

The film takes place 17 years after The Deathly Hallows and will follow a Hogwarts student named Charlie who gets expelled and is forced to return to the world of muggles.

Butas you might have been able to glean from the $63,000 price tag, this isn’t just any average fan film. The trailer (below) shows off a shockingly high production value.

“And that’s with no budget,” as director and project head Cameron Cairnduff (which sounds like a very Potter name) says. “Imagine what we can do with one.”

The film enlists a 60-piece string orchestra, custom costume designers, and a cast of 100 volunteers as actors, including one from “Game of Thrones.” The best part? They’re not looking to make a buck. As Cairnduff says, it’s all non-profit, just for fans.

J.K. Rowling would be proud. Check out the Kickstarter here.
