(CBS SF) – Due to artist illness, the Icona Pop concert scheduled for this Friday, August 30, 2013, at the Fillmore has been postponed.

Via Icona Pop:

“It is with much regret to announce that Icona Pop have had to postpone their upcoming tour dates in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Vancouver. Due to sickness, Aino Jawo has received strict orders from her doctor to rest in order to complete the last leg of their Iconic Tour tour next month. The tour will commence in Salt Lake City, UT on 09/06 and we are working hard to reschedule the postponed dates for later this year.”

“We cannot tell you how sad we are and how much these shows meant to us.” Said Caroline Hjelt “Our fans are so important to us and we live to perform on stage for you each night. We promise we’ll be back and will see you soon! In the meantime, please send lots of love and good energy Aino’s way!”

Ticket holders, please be advised there will be a further announcement as soon as the postponed dates have been rescheduled.
