(CBS NEWS) – Katy Perry recently said she and John Mayer are doing “a lot of collaborating,” and that apparently includes making music together.

The now-on-again couple has recorded a new duet, titled “Who You Love,” for Mayer’s new album, “Paradise Valley.”

Mayer, 35, and Perry, 28, trade verses throughout the track. At the end of the song, she can be heard giggling.

“My girl, she ain’t the one that I saw coming/Sometimes I don’t know which way to go/And I tried to run before but I’m not running anymore/Cuz I fought against it hard enough to know/That you love who you love who you love/You can’t make yourself stop dreaming of who you’re dreaming of/If it’s who you love, then it’s who you love,” Mayer sings.

This is the second musical release of the week for Perry. On Monday, she debuted a lyric video for her new single “Roar.” Her new album, “Prism,” is due out Oct. 22.
