CBS INTERVIEWING NOW FOR FALL 2013 CREATIVE SERVICES TELEVISION INTERNSHIPS

These are unpaid internships. Applicants must be enrolled in college and eligible for college credit for the internship.

The KBCW Creative Services department is seeking Broadcasting, Communication, and Film students for “The KBCW Podsquad” (FALL 2013 session).

“The KBCW PODSQUAD” interns will be provided with experience in:

  • Pre-production and scriptwriting
  • Studio and field production
  • Video editing, media management
  • Field marketing, station promotion and sales
  • Digital media production

Three internships are open for the Fall 2013 semester. Two “field production” weekend internships and one “studio production” weekday assignment internship is available. Weekly schedules for the “field production” internship team include at least one full field shoot day per week (usually Saturdays) and one supervised edit session (usually Monday afternoon/evening).

The “studio production” team intern member will gain experience and assist in studio production, pre-production and post weekly at the station (usually Tuesdays and Fridays).

There is a minimum of 10 hours, maximum of 20 hours a week per internship, schedules arranged at the beginning of the semester and subject to change.

Qualified individuals must have strong communication skills, high level of commitment and initiative. Specific skills and interest in video production and post production preferred.
