Bart Simpson’s Chalkboard Gag – ‘The Crepes of Wrath’

(KBCW/CBS SF) – In the episode titled “The Crepes of Wrath” from Season One of “The Simpsons.” The title is a nod to John Steinbeck’s novel “The Grapes of Wrath.” In this episode, Bart can be found crushing grapes. Bart can also be found writing on the blackboard “Garlic gum is not funny.” The episode marks the first appearance of Agnes Skinner or as Seymour calls her, Spanky. In later episodes, her voice actor changes.
