PAUL FISHER AND HIS TEAM TRAVEL TO MINNEAPOLIS TO MAKEOVER A MODELING AGENCY IN NEED OF SOME MAJOR HELP
During the heyday of the “supermodel era” in the 1980s and early 1990s, Paul Fisher was a legend in the modeling industry. With his bigger-than-life personality and often brutally frank opinions, he earned his reputation as a star-maker through his uncanny ability to spot the potential superstar in a group of inexperienced young models. Fisher represented some of the world’s biggest models during his career, including Naomi Campbell, Stephanie Seymour, Carol Alt, Carla Bruni, Brooke Burke, Kimora Lee Simmons and Carré Otis. Now he’s taking his passion for the business and focusing it on bringing small agencies from around the world together under his new venture called The Network. In the premiere episode, “A Latte To Learn,” Paul travels to Minneapolis to meet modeling agency owner Brita Jackson and her team at Arquette & Associates. Paul is really frustrated to discover that Brita – in the aftermath of 16 models being stolen away by one of her employees – has basically given up on her agency. Meanwhile, Paul and his trusted number two at The Network, Olga Tavarez, must decide which four new faces on their roster are going to be selected to travel to New York to audition for Fashion Week.
