
Bay Area Focus
“Bay Area Focus with Susan Sikora” is one of very few locally produced TV talk shows in the San Francisco Bay Area. This one-on-one interview format, hosted by EMMY winner Susan Sikora, airs Sunday mornings at 8 a.m. on The CW 44cable12 (KBCW-TV) throughout Northern California. The show features in-depth conversations with visiting celebrities and newsmakers, local artists, experts, politicians, and community leaders. In addition, it highlights the Bay Area’s numerous non-profit organizations, activities and community events, and addresses the gamut of regional and local issues and concerns dealing with education, housing, politics, and transportation.
Former guests include: Senator Barbara Boxer, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, Mayor Gavin Newsom, Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, Queen Noor, Caroline Kennedy, Walter Cronkite, Chris Matthews, Alan Alda, Kenneth Branagh, Richard Chamberlain, Maurice Hines, Nancy Wilson, Joy Behar, David Benoit, Rick Braun, Peter White, Pete Escovedo, Eartha Kitt, Judy Collins, Rev. The show’s host – Susan Sikora – is an EMMY Award winner and 8 time nominee. San Francisco Columnist Bill Mann dubbed her “best TV Schmoozer” in the Bay Area. Sikora hosted daily, live TV talk shows in several top 10 markets: New Jersey’s “In Your Corner” and “Consumer Line” (PBS), and Boston’s Morning, Live (CBS). A New Jersey native, she hosted nationally-syndicated programs at both NBC and ABC Network Radio. Sikora returned to the Bay Area to host KGO TV’s daily, live, talk show “Good Morning Bay Area.” She also hosted a call-in program for KGO Radio and was the consumer contributor on KPIX-TV’s original Evening Magazine. Susan Sikora resides in Marin County with her husband Skip, and their two “catkids” Oliver and Scarlett.
